If you hold the misconception that the word “certification”--as it regards fitness programming--equals quality or a higher level of proficiency, it is your responsibility to learn the real facts.

The business of providing continuing education to fitness professionals in the “fitness industry” is the sieve through which all fitness trends and practices must flow through in order to be accepted by consumer fitness markets as legitimate. If we use health clubs as an example, safety, injury prevention and user-friendliness to maintain the practice are the values that drive the best programming. If one looks at the business of creating and promoting health and fitness programs like an hourglass, the top is over-flowing with hopeful providers; the bottom is half empty. But what’s down there is the cream of the crop… the most reputable and safest fitness programs in the world.

Welcome to Nordic Walk Now.

Nordic walking offers many physiological benefits including heart and cardiovascular health, weight loss, promotes excellent posture and back health. Using Nordic walking poles for fitness or stability facilitates a full-body stimulation, an interaction with the pull of gravity that creates bone density and spreads the effort throughout the body. Proper skills and techniques bring about a user-friendly low impact workout experience. Use is ageless and without limits from kids to grandmas to athletes and those with disabilities.

If you are a movement educator interested in teaching or an enthusiast interested to experience the benefits and Nordic walking injury prevention, check out our Instructor Training and Community Walker programs. "Nordic walking is exercise for life. 'Fitness' is the by-product of this compelling, full body experience. If you haven't tried it, you absolutely should...for yourself and for everyone else. Through education, YOU have the power to change lives. How many people do you want to help? That should be your only question."
